Vikas Divyakriti announces compensation
After the accident in Old Rajendra Nagar, Drishti IAS coaching institute’s head, Vikas Divyakirti, has made a significant announcement. He declared a compensation of 10 lakh rupees each for the families of the students who lost their lives in the incident.

Vikas Divyakirti said, “In the past few days, two accidents in Old Rajendra Nagar have led to the untimely demise of four promising students. One was Nilesh Rai who died due to electrocution on a waterlogged street, while three students, Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni, and Nivin Dalvin, were victims of sudden waterlogging in the basement of a coaching institute. This is undoubtedly a very difficult time for the families of all four children.”

He added, “We stand with them in this immense grief. We understand that no amount of money can erase the pain of losing their children. However, as a humble attempt to express our solidarity in this moment of sorrow, Drishti IAS has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to each of the four bereaved families.”

IAS Vikas Divyakirti further stated, “If, during this period of mourning or thereafter, we can assist the grieving families in any other way, we will feel grateful. Additionally, we are also ready to help all current students of Rau’s IAS Study Circle. We will provide free academic support and classes for General Studies, Test Series, and optional subjects. Students who wish to avail themselves of this facility can contact the help desk at our Karol Bagh office starting Monday, August 5, 2024.”
It is to be noted that students had earlier protested against Vikas Divyakriti for not responding over the sudden death of civil service aspirants.
