Triumph Daytona 660 Hits Indian Roads

Exciting news for motorcycle enthusiasts in India: the Triumph Daytona 660 has officially arrived, with deliveries kicking off just over a month after its much-anticipated launch! Priced at Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom), this stunning sports bike shares its DNA with the acclaimed Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, making it a noteworthy addition to Triumph’s lineup.

Packed with cutting-edge features, the Daytona 660 prioritizes safety and visibility, boasting dual-channel ABS, traction control, and full LED lighting. It’s designed to captivate riders looking for a premium middleweight sports bike that blends performance with advanced technology.

At the heart of the Daytona is a spirited triple engine that delivers an exhilarating ride. Producing an impressive 95PS at 11,250rpm and a thrilling redline at 12,650rpm, it offers over 80% of its peak 69Nm torque from as low as 3,125rpm. The new 3-into-1 exhaust setup not only enhances performance but also emits a distinctive sound that triple engine fans will love.

Engineered for agility, the Daytona 660 rides on a lightweight sports frame and premium Showa suspension, featuring 41mm upside-down front forks and a Showa rear shock with preload adjustment for that perfect setup.

But that’s not all—the Daytona 660 is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to enhance your riding experience. The ride-by-wire throttle ensures precise control, while three selectable riding modes—Sport, Road, and Rain—allow riders to tailor the throttle response and traction control to their preferences. Whether you’re pushing the limits on the track or navigating city streets, there’s a mode for every scenario. Feeling adventurous? You can even switch off traction control for a rawer riding experience.

Completing the package are five-spoke cast aluminium wheels that reduce rotating mass for improved handling, shod with Michelin Power 6 tyres for confident grip in various conditions. When it’s time to stop, the Daytona relies on twin 310mm discs and four-piston radial callipers, delivering reliable braking performance and precise control.

The Triumph Daytona 660 is not just a bike; it’s a statement. With its blend of performance, technology, and style, it’s ready to take the Indian biking scene by storm!
