On one hand, news of pre-monsoon is coming from some parts of Bihar. However, people living in Gaya is still waiting for the good news and some fresh rain.

Pre-monsoon rains are expected to continue at some places in the state’s north-west, north-central, north-east and south-east Bihar. The remaining part of the state will remain almost completely dry. The weather changed in Patna and surrounding areas around 10 am and a dust storm is reported.

According to the official forecast of IMD, the day temperature is likely to increase by one to three degrees Celsius in most parts of the state, especially in south-west Bihar, in the next two days.

There was no heat wave situation in any part of the state on Wednesday. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, some rain along with strong wind was recorded in the districts of West and East Champaran, Banka, Jamui, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Nawada, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Araria etc. This situation is likely to continue. There is also a forecast of dust storm at some places in Southern Bihar.

People have again started getting worried due to the unrelenting heat in Gaya. Due to scorching sun and heat wave blowing, people have started remaining restless throughout the day. Similar situation prevailed on Wednesday also. According to the weather forecast, the sky may remain partly cloudy this week but there is no possibility of rain at present.

The maximum temperature on Wednesday was 41.9 degrees and the minimum temperature was 27.0 degrees, while on Tuesday the maximum temperature was 42.2 degrees and minimum 26.5 degrees Celsius. Due to the immense heat, people are seen drenched in sweat.

Vat Savitri Puja is on Thursday, due to this a huge crowd was seen in the market on Wednesday for women to buy puja items. However, due to the harsh sun and hot strong wind, the crowd remained less in the afternoon, but in the evening a good crowd was seen in the market. People and women were seen using umbrellas and towels to protect themselves from heat and harsh sunlight.
