The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids at seven locations in connection with the Reasi bus attack case in Jammu. The agency is investigating the terrorist attack on pilgrims in Reasi, which was linked to the involvement of Pakistan-based operatives from the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) organization. On June 9, terrorists attacked a bus carrying pilgrims returning from a temple in Shiv Khori, Reasi. They first killed the bus driver, causing the vehicle to fall into a gorge, and then fired at the pilgrims for an extended period, resulting in the deaths of nine people and injuries to 44 others.
