Rhea Chakraborty launched her podcast show “Chapter 2” on Saturday, where she opened up about her personal life, current financial situation, and the public’s polarized opinions about her following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Her first guest was Sushmita Sen. Addressing curiosity about her income, Rhea clarified, “People are confused about my career now. I am not acting in films; I do other things like motivational speaking, which is how I earn my money.”

Rhea explained that the show’s name, “Chapter 2,” is inspired by her own life. She shared, “Everyone thinks they know my ‘chapter one.’ I’ve gone through many phases and emotions, becoming different versions of myself. Now, I feel more like myself but a new version, like a rebirth. I want to celebrate that with anyone who has a ‘chapter two.’ It’s okay to start again, to move on in life. I want to celebrate change.”

During the conversation, Rhea also spoke about what she perceives as her superpower – the ability to polarize any room she enters. “Some see me as a resilient woman, while others call me a ‘witch.’ I joke about this superpower. I enter a room, and I can sense the polarization immediately. Half think I’m a witch who practices black magic, and the other half see me as a strong, courageous woman. I feel this everywhere – at the dentist, the gym, the airport. This has taught me that it doesn’t matter. Those who love you, great. Those who hate you, that’s okay too,” she said.

In September 2020, Rhea was arrested and jailed on drug charges related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, accused of procuring and supplying drugs to the late actor. She was granted bail after 28 days. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai in June 2020.
