What the scheme offers
- In its first phase, the scheme will benefit 20 lakh women aged 23–60 years.
- Eligible women must belong to families with an annual income of up to Rs 1 lakh.
- Each beneficiary will receive Rs 2,100 per month, directly credited to her bank account.
- Every eligible woman in a household can apply—there’s no limit on the number of beneficiaries per family.
- The government has allocated Rs 5,000 crore for 2025–26 to run the programme.
Easy, digital access
To make the process seamless, a dedicated mobile app has been introduced for registration, verification, and grievance redressal eliminating the need to visit government offices. Within hours of its launch, the app saw 50,000 downloads and 8,000 applications. A toll-free helpline (18001802231) and a support line (01724880500) are also available.
Encouraging young women to prepare in advance, Mr. Saini said: “Daughters below 23 years should celebrate their 23rd birthday by applying for this scheme.”

A broader vision for women’s empowerment
Mr. Saini highlighted the Centre’s efforts, pointing out that over 2.13 lakh women in Haryana are now ‘Lakhpati Didis’. He also noted that 100 women have received drones and training under the ‘Drone Didi’ scheme.
Other women-centric initiatives in Haryana include:
- Free education for girls up to post-graduation.
- A creche policy to support working mothers.
- Establishment of 33 all-women police stations.
- A 1091 helpline for women’s safety.
With this new initiative, the Haryana government aims to boost financial stability for women while reinforcing their role as equal and active contributors to society.
