Well-known YouTubers Dhruv Rathee and Gaurav Taneja have recently clashed on social media after Dhruv reacted to a post about the ‘India vs Bharat’ debate on X (formerly Twitter). This argument started after Dhruv criticized spiritual leader Sadhguru over his comments on the topic.

Sadhguru, founder of the Isha Foundation, shared his thoughts over the ‘India vs Bharat’ issue following an announcement from the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) that both terms will be used in textbooks. Reacting over the same, Sadhguru said, “We should have reclaimed the name ‘Bharat’ when the British left. The word ‘India’ has no meaning, but ‘Bharat’ resonates deeply. If we can’t officially change the name, we should at least use ‘Bharat’ in our daily lives. The younger generation should know that Bharat existed long before India.”

However, Dhruv Rathee was not very much impressed by his statement and accused Sadhguru of having an anti-India agenda. Dhruv said, “Stop your Anti-India agenda, Mr. Jagadish Vasudev. Everyone knows both India and Bharat are in our constitution. You’re just playing dirty politics.”

Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast) then jumped into the fray, defending Sadhguru and criticizing Dhruv. He said, “Why can’t different opinions exist online? Why do some foreigners want to control all content? #Dictator.”

Dhruv responded by mocking Gaurav’s career, sharing data showing a decline in Gaurav’s followers, and suggesting Gaurav take his YouTube Blueprint course to improve his content. Dhruv added, “No controversy can save your dying career, Gaurav, not even using your kids for drama. Make valuable content for a change. Good luck :)”

Gaurav then responded back in Hindi, saying, “How would you know the joy of bread earned honestly, brother?”
