Chirag Paswan Slams Nitish Govt
Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan didn’t mince words on Saturday as he launched a scathing attack on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, blaming it for the worsening law and order situation in the state.

Highlighting a chilling incident that recently rocked Patna, Paswan referred to the broad daylight murder inside Paras Hospital where five armed men stormed into the private facility and gunned down a criminal undergoing treatment. Calling the act a stark example of criminal audacity, he said the event exposed the complete breakdown of the state’s policing system.

“Law and order is a state subject under India’s federal structure,” Paswan emphasized. “The Prime Minister is bringing development schemes with a clear vision to make Bihar a developed state. But crime control? That’s the state government’s job. Blaming the Centre is not just unfair, it’s a distraction from the real issue.”

Taking to social media platform X, Paswan didn’t hold back: “Murders are a daily occurrence. Criminals are emboldened. The police strategy is baffling. The Paras Hospital attack is a direct challenge to the administration.”
In addition to law and order, Paswan also addressed the Opposition’s allegations about voter list tampering in Bihar, calling them baseless and misleading.

“How can there be tampering when the voter list process hasn’t even concluded?” he questioned. “These are premature claims designed to stir public distrust.”
Standing firmly behind the Election Commission, Paswan lauded its integrity and transparency. “If there was any wrongdoing, we would’ve been the first to raise our voice. Our party has never hesitated to call out injustice even within our own ranks.”

With crime on the rise and elections on the horizon, Chirag Paswan has made it clear: accountability starts at home, and Bihar’s leadership needs to step up.
