In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bobby Deol said, “Both of my children want to be a part of Hindi films. I regularly talk to them about all these things. I make it a point to ensure that they stay connected to their roots. I’ve always tried to make sure they speak in Hindi. Bobby Deol offered special advice to his sons. Speaking about Aryaman and Dharam belonging to a film family, he said, “The fact that I am their father doesn’t change anything for them. They will have to face their own struggles. Things don’t become easier for them just because of me.” He further added, “As their father, I can guide them, but making a name in this industry is very challenging. It’s not just difficult as an actor but also to gain fame in any field. People often say the film industry is tough, but that’s the case in every field.”

Last year, without naming anyone, Bobby Deol criticized star kids who don’t know Hindi. He mentioned that nowadays, everyone speaks English with each other, and they aren’t in the habit of conversing in Hindi. However, he doesn’t want the same for his children, which is why his kids speak Hindi. According to Bobby Deol, it’s crucial for an actor to have command over their language. If you know your lines, you can effortlessly embody your character.
