One user wrote, “Sir, you’re the most senior actor in the film industry, yet not a single word condemning the Pahalgam terrorist attack?”
Another commented, “Not even one post about what happened in Kashmir.”
One more said, “Did Jaya Ji take your phone? Couldn’t bring yourself to write something about Pahalgam?”
Another user remarked, “Respected sir, sometimes it’s necessary to speak up. Silence after such a massacre is not right.”

Yet another said, “Amit ji, have you tied a cloth over your mouth? Won’t you say anything about Pahalgam? Anupam Kher made crores from The Kashmir Files and even he spoke up. You sang, ‘Kitna khoobsurat yeh tasveer hai… yeh Kashmir hai,’ now it’s time to speak.”
