In Wednesday’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, contestant Krishna Selukar was on the hot seat. Despite holding an engineering degree, he lost his job during the COVID-19 lockdown. He compared his situation to that of an unmarried girl.

The contestant said, “If I may say, an unmarried girl is considered a burden on her family, sir. Similarly, after a certain age, unemployed boys are also burdens.” Interrupting him, Amitabh Bachchan firmly stated, “Let me tell you something. A girl is never a burden. Girls are a great pride.”
