Bollywood’s King Khan is once again proving why he is loved far beyond the silver screen. Amid the devastating floods wreaking havoc across Punjab, Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation has stepped up with a strong message of compassion and solidarity.

In collaboration with local NGOs, the foundation has launched a large-scale relief operation, reaching out to 1,500 families struggling in the aftermath of the floods. Essential aid kits packed with food items, medicines, hygiene supplies, mosquito nets, tarpaulin sheets, folding beds, cotton mattresses, and other necessities are being distributed across Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka, and Firozpur. The initiative is not just about immediate survival but also about helping families rebuild their lives with dignity.

Punjab is currently witnessing one of its worst floods in recent years, displacing thousands and leaving many without shelter. Relief operations are underway at a war footing, with NGOs, volunteers, and celebrities uniting to bring hope back to affected communities.
