According to officials, the group was traveling in a van when they were intercepted. A search of their belongings led to the discovery of 12 mobile phones with multiple SIM cards, Indian currency, Aadhaar cards, and several incriminating documents. Two vehicles linked to the case were also seized.
Adding another twist to the case, authorities have arrested three Indian facilitators who allegedly helped the Bangladeshis cross the border.

BSF Shoots Indian Man Trying to Re-Enter from Bangladesh
In another dramatic border incident, a man identified as Akhtar Jamal Roni was shot by the Border Security Force (BSF) while attempting to return to India from Bangladesh. Officials revealed that Roni had illegally entered Bangladesh on Monday to attend a religious event and was trying to cross back on Tuesday.
The situation escalated when Roni, accompanied by a woman, was spotted approaching the border fence. Despite multiple warnings, the duo attempted to breach the fencing and even got into a scuffle with security personnel, allegedly trying to snatch a BSF officer’s Pump Action Gun (PAG). In response, following standard protocols, the security official fired a single round, injuring Roni while the woman managed to escape to a nearby village.
