Kartik Aaryan’s childhood mischiefs seem to have no end, and his mother, Mala Tiwari, never misses a chance to share some of his most embarrassing moments, much to his chagrin! In a recent interview with Galatta India, she revealed yet another hilarious and slightly dangerous episode from Kartik’s early years, involving an experiment with a deodorant bottle that nearly set his sister’s hair on fire.
As Mala recounted, young Kartik Aaryan’s curiosity often led him into trouble. One day, he saw the flammable warning on a deodorant bottle and decided to test it out. He asked his sister, Kittu, to light a candle, and then aimed the deodorant can at the flame to see if it would catch fire. Unfortunately, he got a little too carried away and ended up spraying too much, which caused Kittu’s hair to catch fire. Thankfully, they managed to put the flames out, but Kartik received a good scolding for his reckless curiosity.
Kartik Aaryan, always quick to defend himself, added his version of the story: “I didn’t mean to burn her hair. She was just in the wrong spot, and when the flames went up, one side of her hair caught fire. I immediately started throwing water on her.” He also mentioned that his mother, not surprisingly, was very angry with him afterward.
This quirky anecdote adds to the long list of humorous tales that Kartik’s mother has shared about his childhood, showing the actor’s inquisitive (and sometimes too adventurous) nature. It’s these kinds of stories that endear him even more to his fans, especially considering his rise to fame from humble beginnings.
