Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become parents as Deepika gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday. The couple shared this joyous news via a post on Instagram. Deepika was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaon area on Saturday afternoon. Ranveer Singh and their family members were by her side during this time. Earlier, on September 6, Deepika had visited the Siddhivinayak Temple for blessings.

It is worth noting that Deepika announced her pregnancy on social media on February 28 this year. She shared a post, revealing that their baby was expected to be born in September 2024.
Many celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Malaika Arora, and Parineeti Chopra, congratulated Ranveer and Deepika on becoming parents.

On Friday afternoon, Deepika, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, visited the Siddhivinayak Temple for darshan. Deepika was seen in a green saree, while Ranveer wore a kurta-pajama. Both of their families were present at this special occasion. Several videos surfaced, showing Ranveer supporting the pregnant Deepika.

Ranveer Singh had made his television debut with the show The Big Picture not long ago. During a promotional shoot and media interaction for the show, he expressed his desire to have a daughter like Deepika. He said, “As you all know, I am married now, and in 2-3 years, we will have kids. My wife (Deepika) was such a cute baby, I keep saying that I want a daughter like her, and my life will be set. I’m already shortlisting names.”
