A 59-year-old man named Ravindran Nair, from Ulloor, was rescued on Monday morning after being stuck in a hospital lift for two days. He got trapped in the lift at the OP Block of the government medical college in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.

Nair entered the lift to go to the first floor, but the lift went down instead and didn’t open. He shouted for help, but no one heard him, and his phone was off. The incident was discovered on Monday morning when the lift operator started the lift for routine work.
